The students in each of my classes received their log-ins for Tenmarks on Friday. They can access it from any computer they like. I will be activating the pre-assessment so that they can go on, take the assessment, and then they will be assigned work that will help fill in any holes, as well as provide advancement on skills they may excel on. I will be offering extra credit for assignments completed with a minimum of 80%. Have fun and let's get working! http://tenmarks.com/login
I am excited to announce that we are offering MVMS t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, raglans, hoodies, stickers, and lanyards. Order forms were sent home on day one, but can also be picked up from the office or accessed from the PTSA webpage here. There are also samples of each on the PTSA page. I'm excited to announce that I have set-up something for all of us to keep in contact. I will be able to text you, and you can do the same, without worrying about you cell number getting in the wrong hands. I will send out reminders, updates, etc and encourage you to send me any questions. I will do my best to respond as quickly as I can.

Your username is firstlast (student) and the same for parents, except put a 'P' at the end of your child's name.
Also, make sure to join our class webpage. The students' use their student ID for username and password.
Extra help at school...
For those wishing to get some extra help, or just get a question answered, my door opens at 7am each day, as well as nutrition, lunch, and Wednesdays from 2:15-3:15. Don't wait until you are far behind...ask NOW!
Starting Monday, 8/17, you will need to come to class prepared each and every day. The following are some items that will be needed for my class, and some that are highly recommended (!!). Also, if you are able to donate any items to the class, that would be greatly appreciated!
2"- 3" 3-ring binder with dividers
loose leaf college ruled paper
hand sharpener w/cover
mechanical pencils (BUT only if you have refill lead as well!)
white board markers/eraser
highlighters...at least 4 colors
(!!) calculator with square root key
(!!) glue stick
white board markers (we use these almost daily)
pencils/lead/erasers (lots and lots!)
clorox wipes (for cleaning desks...don't want to spread germs)
tissue (especially during cold season)
antibacterial hand cleaner (do you see a pattern??)
lined, college ruled paper
20lb bond (otherwise known as plain, white paper)
**scratch paper- some parents have gotten their workplaces to donate paper that has been printed on one side...I can put it to good use!!
